Warranty Coverage for Go-Go Travel Scooter
Five-Year Limited Warranty
For a period of five (5) years starting from the purchase date, Pride will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the following parts if they are found to be defective in material or workmanship upon examination by an authorized Pride representative:
- Structural frame components, including:
- Platform
- Fork
- Seat Post
- Frame Welds
Two-Year Limited Warranty
All electronic parts, such as controllers and battery chargers, are covered by a two (2) year warranty. Repairs to these components must be conducted by your authorized Pride Provider. Any attempt to open or dismantle these components will void the warranty for that specific item.
One-Year Limited Warranty
For a period of one (1) year from the purchase date, Pride will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the following parts if they are found to be defective in material or workmanship upon examination by an authorized Pride representative:
- Drivetrain, including:
- Differential
- Motor
- Brake
Six-Month Warranty
Batteries are covered by a separate six (6) month warranty provided by the battery manufacturer. Gradual deterioration in performance due to factors such as being left in a discharged state, exposure to cold conditions for extended periods, or wear due to heavy usage is not covered.
Warranty for Reconditioned Units
All reconditioned units are covered by a six (6) month warranty from Pride, effective from the date of purchase.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to items that may require replacement due to normal wear and tear, including:
- ABS Plastic Shrouds
- Tires and Tubes
- Upholstery and Seating
Exclusions also encompass instances that are beyond Pride’s control, labor charges, service calls, shipping costs, and other expenses associated with repairing the product, unless specifically authorized by Pride Mobility Products Corporation in advance. Repairs or modifications made to any part of the Travel Scooter without explicit prior consent from Pride are not covered.
Damage caused by factors such as contamination, abuse, misuse, accidents, negligence, battery fluid spillage or leakage, commercial use, improper operation, maintenance, storage, or failure to adhere to recommended charging and storage procedures is excluded from warranty coverage.
Additional Information
Pride Mobility Products Corporation’s warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive warranty. Implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose, are limited to one (1) year from the original purchase date and within the extent permitted by law. All implied warranties are excluded beyond this period. This warranty is the sole remedy available, and liabilities for consequential damages under any and all warranties are excluded.
It’s important to note that some states may not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the limitations or exclusions outlined above might not be applicable to you according to your local laws.
